Roles and responsibilities

  • Reporting to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s Chief People Officer, Declan leads the People Services teams within ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Group HR.
  • Declan is responsible for the design and delivery of HR strategy, policy, processes and initiatives to support individuals and teams to drive ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ strategy, whilst delivering an excellent people experience.
  • The People Services team work on: supporting staff and freelancers thrive at work and serve our audiences, support leaders make data informed decisions through intelligent analytics and capability improvement, ensure compliance with legislation and ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ policy, aspire to deliver seamless interactions with HR systems and technologies and provide colleagues with efficient and effective HR services to support business needs and staff wellbeing.

Biography

Declan joined the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ in 2017 and has previously worked in a variety of HR leadership roles across retail, financial services and telecoms industries.

Expenses and central bookings

Expenses are costs incurred by ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ staff on behalf of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ and claimed through the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s expenses system.

Central bookings are costs incurred on behalf of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ and booked through the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s central bookings system. Both expenses and central bookings are published every three months.
