The use of AI for promotion copy on iPlayer

Some of the promotional copy seen on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer has been written using the assistance of Microsoft Copilot, an AI text generating software programme. In all cases, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Editorial staff have seen and approved any copy before it is published on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer.  

All news and current affairs programmes are specifically excluded from the use of AI generated copy on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer.
