How do I install the app?

You'll need to be connected to the internet, either via WiFi or a mobile networkÌýconnection, and make sure your device is supported for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer. You also need to be in the UK to install the app.

Your device willÌýneed to be running Fire OS 6Ìýor above.

  1. Go to theÌý

  3. Select the InstallÌýbutton on the screen and the app should begin to download straight away
  4. Once downloaded you'll be given the option toÌýOpen: tap this toÌýbring you straight to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer app

Android

Your device will need to be running Android 7.0 or above.

  1. Open the Play Store app
  2. Search forÌýÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer
  3. Select the InstallÌýbutton on the screen and the app should begin to download straight away
  4. Once downloaded you'll be given the option toÌýOpen: tap this toÌýbring you straight to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer app

iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch

Your device will need to be running iOS 15.5Ìýor above.

  1. From the home screen, tapÌýApp Store
  2. TapÌýSearchÌýat the bottomÌýthen search for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer
  3. Tap the app, then tap Get.Ìý(The App Store may ask you to confirm your Apple ID at this point.)
  4. Once downloaded you'll be given the option to Open: tap this to bring you straight to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer app

How do I uninstall the app?

Amazon Fire

  1. Gently hold down on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer app icon on your screen
  2. Select Remove From Device
  3. Tap OKÌýto uninstall the app, if prompted, and select OKÌýon the completion screen

Android

  1. GentlyÌýhold down on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer app icon on your screen
  2. You'll see the options to 'Remove' or 'Uninstall' the app.ÌýDrag the app to 'Uninstall'Ìýand release/let go
  3. You'll then get an on-screen notification asking if you're sure you want to "Uninstall ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer?"
  4. Select Uninstall and the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer app will no longer be on your device

iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch

  1. GentlyÌýhold down on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer app icon on your screen
  2. The icons will start to wiggle. You'll either see an X in the corner of the app or a list of options with Delete app at the bottom.
  3. Tap the X or Delete app toÌýuninstall.
