The Women’s Six Nations returns to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Sport

Kicking off from Saturday 22 March, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, and Italy are all vying for the trophy

The Women’s Six Nations is back on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Sport, kicking off on Saturday 22 March with England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, and Italy all vying for the trophy. Reigning champions England will be keen to win their seventh consecutive title, while every team will see this as a crucial step towards the Women’s Rugby World Cup in August 2025, which will be broadcast live exclusively on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Sport.

Every match of the tournament will be available across multiple platforms, including ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ TV, iPlayer, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live, 5 Sports Extra, Sounds, the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Sport website/app, and social media.

Gabby Logan leads the live TV coverage with Sonja McLaughlan. They’re joined by a team of experts including Deborah McCormack, Maggie Alphonsi, Siwan Lillicrap, Emma Wassell, Sene Naoupu and former England head coach Simon Middleton, who led the Red Roses to the Six Nations titles, 5 Grand Slams and two World Cup finals.

Sara Orchard and Claire Thomas provide expert commentary alongside co-commentators Heather Lockhart, Brian Moore, Philippa Tuttiett, and Katy Daley-Mclean.

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Sport is the home of women’s rugby this year with the Women’s Six Nations and exclusive coverage of the Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 this summer, starting on 22 August. Hosts England kick off the competition at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light. The tournament’s 10th edition will be hosted across eight nationwide locations with the final at the iconic Twickenham Stadium in London on 27 September.

All the of Wales Women’s Six Nations games will be broadcast live on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ One Wales and iPlayer, with presenter Catrin Heledd leading the Scrum V Live coverage for France v Wales at Stade Amedee-Domenech on Saturday 12 April. Round 3 will see Catrin joined by Lauren Jenkins when Wales are at home taking on Ireland at Newport’s Rodney Parade on Sunday 20 April, and Scrum V Live will be bringing all action from Italy v Wales in Parma during the final round. Guest pundits throughout the tournament include Sioned Harries, Rachel Taylor, Caryl Thomas, James Hook and Ellis Jenkins, with Gareth Rhys Owen leading on commentary.

Host Sarra Elgan takes us inside the game - on and off the pitch. She meets the stars who embody the future of the sport, including England’s world best Ellie Kildunne, Ireland’s Neve Jones, Manaé Feleu of France and Welsh-speaking England star Meg Jones. There’s also a behind the scenes interview with Gloucester-Hartpury’s and new Wales coach Sean Lynn.
