Consall Hall and Lakesland
Episode 7 of 10
Series which follows people's attempts to have their work accepted into the National Gardens Scheme. Consell Hall is a mature garden whilst Lakesland is in its infancy.
Carol Klein presents a series which follows people's attempts to have their gardens accepted into the demanding National Gardens Scheme. Consell Hall is the culmination of a lifetime's hard work and creativity for an 87-year-old widower, who has one last area to plant right up in front of the large imposing house. At Lakesland the project is in its infancy - there are great ambitions but the garden is a skeleton of fields and newly-built constructions.
