Across Europe, Roma children are often educated in special schools for children with mental disabilities. Last year, a group of Roma children defeated the Czech government at the European Court of Justice. The court ruled that the children had been the victims of systematic discrimination and ordered that they should be paid compensation. How has the court ruling affected their lives?
