2. A Mug's Game in London

Episode 2 of 5

Lemn Sissay visits a London pub with the Queen's name to meet a variety of migrants, but violence breaks out. From 2006.

In a tough urban version of the Queen's Head, Lemn finds a cross section of London's migrant community.

Turks, Albanians and black British drink and play pool in good cheer.

But then violence breaks out at the corner of the bar and blood flows inside the Queen's Head.

Continuing his tangential celebration of the Queen's 80th birthday, poet Lemn Sissay meets more of Her Majesty's subjects in pubs that bear her name.
