Kids Club
Lord Sugar challenges the eight remaining candidates to come up with an original kids' club for five- to eight-year-olds and pitch it to industry professionals.
It is week five, and eight budding entrepreneurs remain in the battle to be crowned Young Apprentice and receive £25,000 to kick start their business ambitions.
This week, Lord Sugar challenges candidates to come up with an original kids' club for five- to eight-year-olds. A potentially lucrative business, a unique kids' club concept can be rolled out across the country and make big money through the sale of licences. In just two days, the teams must create a concept and pitch it to industry professionals. The team that sells the most licenses for their kids' clubs will win - and as always, in the boardroom, one of the losing team will be fired.
Team Odyssey are hoping their club, a class filled with explosions, alien goo and club mascot Space Face will be a success. But after an off-kilter pitch, the industry professionals are concerned about costing and Odyssey's space concept looks lost in space.
Team Platinum's active art class 'the Big Mess' is a hit with the kids, but paint-splattered floors, walls and children have the potential buyers looking on in horror.
