Get A Wriggle On!
Worms are fascinating creatures when you get to know them. There's the bone-eating snot flower worm and the Bobbit worm, which can slice a fish in half. And now is your chance to learn more about them with the opening of the Wriggle exhibition at the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff. This week, Adam Walton gets a preview of the exhibition, including a trip into the Wriggloo. He also goes behind the scenes to learn more about the museum's scientific research into marine worms. Then he dons his wellies and goes hunting for worms on Sully beach. Within minutes, several different varieties are discovered - not surprising when you consider that we are surrounded by hundreds of these remarkable little animals in everyday life.Â
