JD's closest neighbour Lizzie is widowed leaving a conveniently placed farm for JD to exploit. Hiding his real intentions, JD offers Lizzie a helping hand - but soon gets more than he bargains for. Meanwhile, Mikey and his posh nemesis Tom Fitzgerald both ask Kate to the Young Farmers ball. Kate claims she wants nothing to do with either but then has a change of heart.
