Punk rockers The Ruts share their 70s memories with Johnnie. The band was formed in 1977 and are still gigging today, with their unique brand of reggae-inspired punk rock.

The Ruts spent the 70s gigging, recording and touring with the likes of The Damned. John Peel was a fan, and they appeared on Top of the Pops twice before the end of the decade.
