Greg James is on a mission. Can he find out a robot to replace Ed Sheeran?

He'll be teaming up with 15 mechanical machines from the Manchester Robot Orchestra to play Ed's song 'Shape of You'. But he wants to find a robot that can sing and dance just like Ed too!

After a nationwide search he thinks he's found the perfect humanoid robot - and maybe his Radio 1 audience love his creation more than the real Ed? He'll put it through its paces by challenging it to a live interview and a rap-off, aiming to find out how it measures up on-air to a real life celebrity.

Then, after an intense period of rehearsing and robot coding, we head to the 蜜芽传媒's legendary Maida Vale studios. It could be the biggest night of their robotic lives - assuming none of them blow a fuse...
