The Coroners鈥� Courts Support Service (CCSS)

There were 31,284 Inquests investigating who had died, how, when and where they died, in England and Wales during 2019.聽 聽Many people have no understanding of the Inquest process and little, if any, support to guide them, all at a time when grieving.聽 聽Our volunteers offer family, friends and witnesses emotional support and practical advice before, during and after the often complicated and bewildering Inquest process and via our national Helpline.聽聽
