Float away with Icelandic composer and pianist 脫lafur Arnalds for an hour-long musical journey into an ocean of calm.
This week, 脫lafur taps into the sounds of the sea and shares music inspired by the ocean, from the lapping of waves to songs inspired by lighthouses. There鈥檚 pieces from Gustav Holst, Emahoy Tsegu茅-Maryam Gu猫brou and Amiina, and 脫lafur reflects on his own relationship with the sea from his studio on the harbour in Reykjav铆k.
Plus the Seattle-based electronic duo ODESZA transport us to their safe haven, the place they feel most calm, on the shore of Lake Washington, and talk about the calming powers of water.
