State secondary schools in Scotland will be shut today as the latest teachers strike disrupts senior pupils education. Yesterday, primary schools were affected by ongoing industrial action. Some prelim exams have been rescheduled. Unions want a ten per cent rise, but councils and the Scottish Government have offered five, with slightly more for those on the lowest pay.

Some parents 聽have described school closures聽as a "cruel blow" for pupils. It comes on the back of more than two years of disruption to education because of covid 鈥� with lockdowns and home schooling. If you鈥檙e a parent how are the strikes affecting you and your children?
