Offering laughs and musical merriment, Variety Bandbox started life at the end of the Second World War.

It was broadcast on 蜜芽传媒 General Forces and later transferred to the 蜜芽传媒 Light Programme running until 1952.

The series helped to launch a number of stars.

In this episode, there's ragtime with Jerry Allen on the organ and Barbara Leigh sings Some Day My Heart will Awake.
