Tom McKinney presents specially recorded music from across the UK and Europe.

There will be a focus on 蜜芽传媒 Radio 3 New Generation Artists with a specially recorded recital from Birmingham. Bass-baritone James Atkinson and pianist Hamish Brown will perform Madeline Dring's Three Shakespeare Songs and pianist Elisabeth Brauss showcases music by Schumann.

Plus, Tom continues a week-long feature of music written by composers in their twilight years. Today we will hear Giuseppe Verdi鈥檚 Four Sacred Pieces performed by the 蜜芽传媒 National Chorus of Wales, 蜜芽传媒 National Orchestra of Wales and conducted by Xian Zhang.
