The music of Spiritualized has always been synonymous with uncompromising artistic purity. In 1995, they released their second album 鈥淧ure Phase鈥� under the name Spiritualized Electric Mainline. It was a wildly ambitious, symphonic record which fused psychedelia, gospel, drone, blues, electronics, minimalism and classical to create music that was kaleidoscopic and fiercely original. 30 years after it鈥檚 original release, the band prepare to perform the album in a way in which it has never been done before. Jason Pierce from Spiritualized talks to Stephen about the original album and the new 鈥淧ure Phase鈥� live show.

Stephen also catches up with Paul Connolly from The Wood Burning Savages on the day they release their hotly anticipated second album 鈥淗and To Mouth鈥�, a record which burns with sociopolitical fury, delivered with sparkling articulacy and fiery guitar riffs.
