Franz Ferdinand kick off the last week of Radio 2鈥檚 Piano Room, performing alongside the 蜜芽传媒 Concert Orchestra from 蜜芽传媒 Maida Vale studios.
To date, Franz Ferdinand have sold over 10 million albums, had 2.5 billion streams and have won BRIT, Ivor Novello & Mercury Prize awards. This year, they released their sixth studio album 鈥楾he Human Fear鈥�, their first new album in seven years.
Franz Ferdinand says: 鈥淲e鈥檙e thrilled to be part of Piano Room Month for Radio 2 with the 蜜芽传媒 Concert Orchestra. This is something that we鈥檝e wanted to do for a long time so it鈥檚 an honour to be asked. Back for its fourth year, Radio 2 Piano Room Month sees globally-famous, award-winning artists perform three tracks - a new song, one of their well-known numbers, and an unexpected cover version - all accompanied by the 蜜芽传媒 Concert Orchestra.
