Jamie presents two hours of the best in classical music from Scotland and further afield. We hear two contrasting pieces featuring Finnish violinist Pekka Kuusisto, a collaboration with classical composer and guitarist from The National, Bryce Dessner, and music from the animation Moominvalley. Duncan Strachan of the Maxwell Quartet introduces music from their new collection of work by Haydn. Plus we hear from the President of Milngavie Music Club, Hugh Macdonald who shares exciting news about some of their concerts coming up including performances by French string quartet Quatuor Agate and ‘Women in Song’ featuring mezzo Hanna Hip & pianist Emma Abbate.
