A watchdog is warning education authorities they need to undertake a "fundamental" review of how they deal with pupils with additional support needs. Audit Scotland says there's been an eight fold increase in those who need additional support in learning - or ASL - since 2004, when the law was changed to try to make schools more inclusive. But according to the watchdog, the Scottish Government has failed to take into account the impact of that law change.
