Country star Lainey Wilson - who's headlining the Country To Country Festival for 2025 - picks another 2 songs in this week's Tracks Of My Years.

Lainey is a Grammy award-winning country singer-songwriter from Louisiana who has been described as a ‘bona fide storyteller at work’. She broke through with her song ‘Things A Man Oughta Know’ nearly ten years after she left home to follow her fortune in Nashville. Whilst there, she lived in a trailer in a car park as she was trying to make her way.

She has now headlined shows across the world, won two Grammys, received awards from the CMAs and been inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. She’s even tried her hand at acting in the TV series ‘Yellowstone’. Her latest album, 'Whirlwind', was nominated for Best Country Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards, losing out to Beyonce’s ‘Cowboy Carter’.

She will headline the Country to Country Festival on Friday 14th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March in London, Belfast and Glasgow respectively.
