Cerys invites guitarist Albert Lee to share his favourite Blues records!
Albert started his career in the rock 'n' roll scene in London in the sixties before moving to the USA, where he gained a reputation as one of the fastest guitar players with his hybrid picking technique. He's worked with Emmylou Harris, Eric Clapton, and Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings.
His latest album Lay It Down was released last year and paid tribute to some of his favourite artists, including Mark Knopfler, Jimmy Webb, and The Everly Brothers. Albert started 2025 playing live in America and is now back in the UK for a March tour.
Also, Cerys rounds up the latest blues you need to hear, from all around the world and in all shapes and sizes!
