Pyrography and Stained Glass

Episode 13 of 15

Can pyrographer Chantal finally make a full-time living from her craft, and will Claire be able to build a stained-glass business to replace her 33-year sugar craft career?

Pyrographer Chantal from Leeds and stained-glass artist Claire from Norfolk both hope to make their dreams of a creative career come true.

Having spent several years trying to earn a living from pyrography, Chantal feels it’s her last chance to make her craft pay. She has a thyroid condition which causes extreme fatigue, but she’s prepared to do whatever it takes to make her business dream a reality.

After having to give up her sugar craft shop following a 33-year career, Claire needs to find a new way of earning a living and has her sights set on a new stained-glass business to pay the bills. Mentor Derek thinks she has the talent and potential to do well, but can Claire learn the new skills needed to succeed?

Both are given two months to take on board all the advice they’re given and turn their passions into paying professions.
