Priest and poet Laura Darrall journeys through Lent in a week-long series of Daily Service programmes exploring poetry from across the centuries. Each service opens with a poem by Laura herself, and the five services take up the themes of Ash Wednesday, Lent, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday, including famous works by Gerard Manley Hopkins and George Herbert alongside newer writings by living poets including Malcolm Guite and Ally Barrett.
