ѿý Radio 3’s Private Passions is 30 this week! Michael Berkeley hosts the show where guests from all walks of life discuss their musical loves and hates and talk about the influence music has had on their lives. We’re celebrating all day on Radio 3 by uncovering gems from the Private Passions archive. This morning, Ian Skelly includes clips from some of the remarkable figures who have appeared on the show over the years. Journalists Steve Rosenberg and Sathnam Sanghera, singer-songwriter Joan Armatrading, actors Peter Ustinov and Judi Dench, philosopher Isaiah Berlin, and poet Imtiaz Dharker choose music by composers including John Tavener, Mozart, John Rutter, Schubert, Debussy and Chopin.
