Glasgow street artist Oh Pandah and Gourock singer-songwriter David Laing.

Len Pennie talks to graffiti artist Oh Pandah about his ‘big heids’ around the streets of Glasgow and Colour Ways, and singer-songwriter David Laing on his new album We, Then Me.

Oh Pandah is a Glasgow-based graffiti artist known for his distinctive 'Big Heids' art, featuring large, cartoon-like faces. Panda, as he is known, is here to tell us more about the life of a street artist and about his Grateful Gallery project. He talks about owing his sobriety to his artwork, and all of the work he has done mentoring and encouraging street art with the makers behind it, and the ethos of hip-hop in encouraging community and positive collaboration. He also discusses his perspective on upward mobility and his belief that sometimes working class artists like himself get in their own way.

Gourock singer-songwriter David Laing shares songs from his new album, We, Then Me, and talks about the mental health challenges he has faced this year. He discusses his openness as a songwriter and how important he finds it to be honest in his work and about his mental health. He talks about writing an album which he describes as 'the soundtrack to your middle-aged break-up', the process of making it, being a multi-instrumentalist and recording the whole record in his living room.
