Hilda thinks a fancy dress sponsored fund-raiser will be a walk in the park.

The second series of adventures concerning a group of Lancashire senior citizens. In the first series they were planning trip to the seaside but this time Hilda, Emily, Mildred and Tommy divert their energies into saving the Carson Street Day Centre, which the council has threatened with closure. And, yes, ‘Never Too Late’ does share a theme tune with TV's 'Terry and June'.
