Heat energy transfer experiment
When energy is released as heat, it always travels from hot to cold. Stella uses a special temperature-sensitive metal bar to show how heat energy is transferred through a metal as it is heated up. An animation is used to show the particles in the metal transferring some of their movement or energy to neighbouring particles.
