Why am I an atheist?
Atheist Julian Baggini visits the Natural History Museum in London to illustrate his preference for natural explanations over supernatural ones. He raises the question as to why an all-loving, all-powerful God would create a world of suffering, pointing out that atheists do not find the existence of suffering a puzzle – it just happens. For Baggini, scientific accounts are more powerful, more convincing and better supported by the evidence than supernatural explanations.
