A rise in council tax bills, but a reduction in services. That’s the likelihood in North Yorkshire as councillors get ready to discuss further savings. Cuts of £20 million are expected to take place over the next 12 months. Tomorrow we’ll be asking what kind of future our councils have..will they actually provide local services or just co-ordinate them?
