Cellist Jacqueline du Pr茅 performs Mendelssohn鈥檚 Song Without Words, accompanied by her mother Iris on the piano. The recital was filmed in February 1962, when Jacqueline was 17 years old, for a 蜜芽传媒 programme titled 'Jacqueline du Pr茅'. Du Pre was forced to stop performing when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1973. She died in October 1987 at the aged of 42.
