Julie Andrews tells Michael Parkinson about the challenges of creating the famous helicopter opening shot of The Sound of Music. Andrews and husband Blake Edwards are interviewed on Parkinson in October 1974. The Sound of Music was first released in US cinemas on March 2 1965.
