Alfred Hitchcock: Psycho was a 'big joke'
Alfred Hitchcock talks to Huw Weldon about Psycho on Monitor, first broadcast in July 1964. He says he was "horrified" to discover audiences had taken his 1960 film seriously. Hitchcock died on 29 April 1980.
