George Forster鈥檚 Story

George 鈥淕eordie鈥� Forster from Bingham in Nottingham was born in 1920.

Originally from South Shields, he was posted to Whatton Camp in Nottinghamshire in 1943. Here he describes his wartime experience and how he felt when he heard that the war was over.
