Ratcliffe: Everton can't afford to turn down £30m for Stones
Kevin Ratcliffe believes if Chelsea offer over £30m for John Stones, Everton can't afford to turn it down.
Chelsea have already had two bids rejected for the 21-year-old but are expected to return with a third offer before the transfer window closes.
Speaking on Merseyside Sport, former Everton captain Ratcliffe questioned whether the club would be able to keep Stones.
"They couldn't hang on to Wayne Rooney, we couldn't hang on to [Marouane] Fellaini for £28m. So I reckon if anything comes in around the £30m touch, then I don't think Everton can afford to turn it down."
