In session: Atticus Lowe

is a 27-year-old hairdresser from Kidderminster.
Ìý
He started playing guitar aged 18 and took up singing - and made his own dance tracks.
Ìý
But this year - he's had the best publicity any artist could ever ask for, having achieved Saturday night prime time ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ 1 coverage for his choice of covers on .
Ìý
But when we spoke to him at the end of March, he said it wasn't really what we wanted to do - and he had a burning ambition to showcase his own music, which is where we come in!
Ìý
So, with a new sound and a new name, debuting his first-ever all-original set at LakeFest, this week's live session comes from Atticus Lowe.
Focus on: Tale Lights

Bewdley's Ben Keen and Dan Francois-Smith grew up as friends and went to school together, joining bands and forming their own musical projects.
Ìý
The most notable group they were in was Kairos, who played all over Europe and we played tonnes of here on the Introducing show.
Ìý
Now in their mid-'20s, the songwriting duo are back out on-the-road as and have already received national airplay after we passed on their music to the Best of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Introducing with Mark Forrest.
Ìý
Well, it turns out they both used to be in the band - who - were the first band we ever had in session here on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Introducing 10 years ago!
Focus on: Steve Attridge & The Sleeping Giants

is a songwriting project with a 'supergroup' of unsigned musicians from Evesham!
Ìý
They're yet to record an album - but have been producing tracks over at Rhythm Studio in Bidford.
Ìý
They are songs that Steve has stockpiled during the last two years and he recruited the best musicians he can find to sing and deliver them.
Ìý
We're such big fans of his music here at ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Hereford & Worcester - Kate Justice invited him in as her special guest on the afternoon show to talk about what he's been up to over the summer.
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Introducing in Hereford & Worcester Big Top at Lakefest

Ìý
The event, at Croft Farm Waterpark in Bredons Hardwick, has grown from a cider festival four years ago, into a full-scale festival that welcomed around 6,000 people this summer.
Ìý
Headliners included Goldie Lookin Chain, Ash and The Cheeky Girls - and next year it's relocating to the site of the former Big Chill at Eastnor Deer Park.
Bromyard Folk Festival

Ìý
Last year's artists included Show Of Hands, Gordie MacKeeman & His Rhythm Boys, Sarah Savoy and Tim Edey.
Ìý
On their website, they describe the gathering as: "Some of the most outstanding local, national and international traditional folk festival musicians performing in concert, ceilidhs and displays."

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Introducing in Hereford & Worcester stage at the Worcester Music Festival

Ìý
The event has been compared to a local version of SXSW with several pubs and clubs around the city hosting live music with song-writing workshops also taking place during the weekend.
Ìý
It was founded in 2008 by Chris Bennion who makes Worcestershire Sauce who wanted his area to be known for more than just Lea & Perrins.
