Football manager: 'I was sacked 10 mins into job'
The current holder of the record for the shortest spell as a professional football manager has told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 5 live he thought his dismissal after just 10 minutes in the job was a "joke".
Leroy Rosenior was speaking following the sacking of Louis Van Gaal from Manchester United.
Leroy was appointed Torquay manager in 2007, just as the club were being taken over by a local consortium.
He Said: "I went down, did the press conference and Mike rang me about 10 minutes later.
“I thought he was joking but he said you're not going to believe this, but they've given me the offer I want."
Rosenior had previously managed the club for four years and guided them to promotion to League 1 in 2004.
