Wimbledon's Akinfenwa: Hollywood producers - 'hit me up!'
AFC Wimbledon striker Adebayo Akinfenwa calls on football managers AND Hollywood movie producers to get in touch after his goal-scoring exploits in the League Two playoff final at Wembley.
Iconic Akinfenwa, who also goes by 'The Beast', is to be released by the club this summer, said: "If there are managers out there needing a striker, give me a call!"
The Dons achieved a sixth promotion since their formation in 2002 by fans of the old Wimbledon FC following their relocation to Milton Keynes.
With rumours of a movie being made about the club's success Akinfenwa speculated about potential actors who could play him.
"Denzel Washington is a very good actor, I don't know if we look the same though...." said the 16 stone forward.
