Davis Cup schedule is terrible - John Lloyd
Former Great Britain captain John Lloyd has criticised the schedule of the Davis Cup, which starts five days after Wimbledon finished.
Defending champions Great Britain begin their quarter-final against Serbia on Friday but are without Andy Murray after he withdrew following his Wimbledon triumph on Sunday.
Lloyd said: "I do not have a lot of sympathy for the players on this one because I do believe that if the top 10 players got together and went to ITF and said 'it is unacceptable, the way the scheduling is for the Davis Cup', it could be changed."
