Iconic pianist Martha Argerich performs at the Proms with Daniel Barenboim鈥檚 pioneering orchestra of players from all over the Middle East. After Liszt鈥檚 thunderously virtuosic First Piano Concerto, Barenboim, who has made Wagner鈥檚 music one of the cornerstones of his repertoire, concludes with stirring excerpts from two of the composer鈥檚 best-loved operas.
