Anthony Payne: Of Land, Sea and Sky

This performance is a fine example of the 蜜芽传媒 Symphony Orchestra and Chorus' long-term relationships with leading artists and composers.

Sir Andrew Davis, who conducted this 2016 Proms performance, is a former Chief Conductor of the orchestra and is now its Conductor Laureate. The 蜜芽传媒 Symphony Orchestra and Chorus have worked with composer Anthony Payne for many years and have premiered a number of his works, including this one - Of Land, Sea and Sky - and his masterful completion of Elgar鈥檚 Symphony No 3.
