Victoria Wood: My 'naughty' school days
"I was a bit naughty then", admitted Victoria Wood as she reflected on her time at Bury Grammar School for Girls in a Christmas 1977 edition of Sounds Local on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Blackburn (now Radio Lancashire).
Victoria performed six of her songs - including Leaning On A Convent Wall - in a half-hour special. The studio didn't have a good enough piano, so the programme was recorded on a grand piano in a house in nearby Clitheroe. The presenter was Wendy Howard.
