Tax: How do Amazon and similar companies 'get away' with it?
'There's nothing illegal about it... but it is morally offensive'
Online retail giant Amazon paid far less tax in the UK last year, despite seeing a jump in profits.
Amazon Services UK, its retail logistics arm, paid tax of £1.7m, down from £7.4m in 2016, but operating profits rose from £48m to £80m. Market commentator David Buik explained on Good Morning Wales how transnational companies can reduce their UK tax.
