ѿýless during coronavirus: ‘We’re finding our own identities again now'
Before the coronavirus pandemic, Amanda was sleeping rough in Manchester City centre.
Thousands of homeless people have been helped into homes and shelters during the lockdown, and Amanda was given a room in a Holiday Inn hotel.
She said on the first night “I think I slept for two days”.
Amanda said the security of having a room is something that’s made a huge difference to a lot of people: “We’re finding our own identities again now."
