I was told I was ‘driving with arrogance'

A ѿý Radio 5 Live caller has described being stopped by police less than an hour before phoning in to a discussion about the topic on Stephen Nolan’s programme.

John was listening to 5 Live when he was pulled over by the police. He told Stephen Nolan he believes he is disproportionally stopped by police because of being black.

He said he was told he was pulled over for “driving with arrogance”.

“Police officers use that word [arrogance] with black people a lot…what he was trying to do is intimidate me verbally, first of all by taking my space so physically and then verbally".

ѿý Radio 5 Live approached the Metropolitan police and haven’t yet received a response.
