'Scotland has problem with hate speech'
The SNP’s Alyn Smith says Scotland needs to tackle its “problem with hate speech”.
He told ѿý Debate Night that concerns around police powers in the Hate Crime Bill have been “massively overstated”.
The Stirling MP said that people have a right to free speech, but they “do not have a right to hate speech”.
He called on parties to work together at Holyrood on the new legislation.
