The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for heavy rain for parts of Scotland.
Forecasters said areas of the Highlands and central Scotland, including Glasgow, Perth and Stirling could see up to 180mm (7in) of rain.

Police said there was a high risk of disruption in areas covered by the warning, and urged people to only make their journeys if they were necessary.
