Tom Baker on his new role as The Doctor in 1974

It was all change again for Doctor Who in 1974, as Jon Pertwee left and Tom Baker took the controls of the TARDIS, a part he would stay in for 7 years. Tom’s Doctor would become a firm favourite with fans and the public alike and he presided over one of the show’s most popular eras.
