"Immensely proud moment" Currie on first Scotland call up.
"Its something I've had on my radar for a couple of years." said the 22 year old whose father is Scottish.
The all rounder is in the senior squad for 4 World cricket league two fixtures against the hosts and Canada starting the end of this month.
Currie wants to impress quickly and get into the T20 squad ahead of the World Cup in the summer.
